Under my leadership, I will have fair, effective and efficient management of the Tax Commissioner’s Office, including the underserved elderly. All citizens of Cherokee County should and will be treated fairly. The present economic conditions, now more than ever, mandate that the residents of Cherokee County pay only fair and reasonable taxes for the operation of the County. I will be the Tax Commissioner who genuinely cares about the residents of Cherokee County and will be committed to ensuring that each resident is aware of all exemptions available. I will be available at both the Canton and Woodstock locations with an open door policy. I am a problem solver who will be pro-active with town hall meetings and lunch and learn sessions. The Tax Commissioner’s office, under my leadership, will operate with candor and transparency and I will be visible and available to discuss any issues regarding the Tax Commissioner’s Office.
